Nikon D7000
Tamron 90mm F 2.8 macro
The start

I bite the bullet and bought the Nikon D7000. Yeah not Canon :)
I also got really good deal on a used Tamron 90mm F 2.8. (200USD) This is one of the first few rounds of photos I took today.
I have no idea about the menus and controls with Nikon, but it goes other way round is what I have understood (clockwise in Canon goes anti-clockwise in Nikon).
Without getting to much into it, I just went for my fav Aperture priority. It was too windy and Tamron + Nikon combi did suffer with AF.
Its quite possible that I didnt get the setting right in first place, where the heck it that manual??!!
From Canon 1000D XS to this camera could well be a big jump.

My wife and son, sharing some moment.
Not sure what made them so happy. Must be something really interesting
