Well, this is first post and this will be short !
I had Fujifilm Finepix S5700 digital camera, before I bought Pana FZ 28.
I always did some basic checks before taking a picture, adding that basic list here.
This is not truly representing FZ 28, the appropriate list will follow.
1. Check White balance:
I set the mode to Aperture or Program, and check the White balance setting. Generally I prefer Auto if I have no clues. Keeping a white paper with the camera bag is not a bad idea. I do that, but most of the times, the effect of Custom and Auto is almost similar for me.
2. ISO:
I have it set to 100 most of the time.
3. Focus:
Always set to Center\Spot. This can be as per convenience though.
4. Exposure:
Average metering (and that's what the manual also recommends)
